Estella Chapoy

Estella M. Chapoy of Uvalde passed away on December 13, 2008 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 65. She was born on May 15, 1943 in Uvalde, Texas to Florencio Martinez and Maria Alicia Robles. She is survived by mother; Maria Alicia Robles of San Antonio, Texas; three daughters; Janet Martinez of Uvalde, Texas; Rebecca Contreras and husband Mark of Uvalde, Texas; Christina Chapoy of Uvalde; son; Adolfo Dundee Chapoy Jr. of Uvalde, Texas; sister; Rosie Diaz of Wisconsin; brother; Florencio Martinez Jr. of Uvalde, Texas; eight grandchildren; Rocky Martinez, Maricela Alcazar, Mark Contreras Jr. Clarissa Rangel, Jimmy Contreras, Bianca Contreras, Sylina Contreras, and Christian Chapoy; six great-grandchildren; Aiden Alcazar, Mia Contreras, Madison Contreras, Jalen Contreras, Jennalyn Contreras, and Andrea Contreras; sister-in-law Bernice Garcia of Uvalde, Texas; brother-in-laws; Alfredo Chapoy of Pasce, Washington; Jimmy Chapoy of Uvalde, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Adolfo Chapoy Sr. A rosary will be held on Monday and Tuesday night at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel in Uvalde. Funeral services will be on Wednesday December 17, 2008 at 3:30 PM at Sacred Heart Cathoic Church in Uvalde, Texas with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Contreras Jr., Jimmy Chapoy, Adam Diaz, Gilbert Alejandro, Frankie Alejandro, Danny Alejandro, and Freddy Alejandro.
