Estella Mares

Estella Sanchez Mares of Eagle Pass passed away on July 17, 2009 at her residence at the age of 62. She was born on March 19, 1947 in Loma Vista, TX to Juan and Adelfina Sanchez, Sr. She is survived by her husband, Lucio Mares of Eagle Pass; two daughters, Lucinda Gonzalez and husband, Javier of San Antonio; and Lizelda M. Wiles and husband, Brian of Denver, CO; four sisters, Geneva Placencia, Anita Sanchez, and Maria Vasquez, all of Uvalde; and Irene Perez of Chicago, IL; one brother, Juan Sanchez, Jr. of Uvalde; and four granchildren, Miranda Jade Gonzalez; Brian John Wiles II; Alyna Madison Gonzalez; and Milana Grace Wiles. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Alberto and Raymundo Sanchez. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2009, at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Placencia, Jr.; Richard Placencia; George Rodriguez; Anthony Reyes; Jordan Reyes; and Jonathan Placencia.
