Ethel Hawkins

Ethel Hawkins of Uvalde passed away on February 6, 2009 at Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 83. She was born on May 17, 1925 in Hondo, TX to Hugo and Emma Reitzer. She is survived by a son, Michael D. Hawkins of Rosharon, TX; two granddaughters, Jackie Felan and Misty Hawkins; three greatgrandchildren, Brookelyn, Whitney, and Bailey Felan; and a sister-in-law, Wanda Reitzer. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Reitzer. Graveside services were held on February 8, 2009, at 4:30 PM at Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. George Stewart officiated.
