Eudelia Castro

Eudelia 'Mama Lela" Ramirez Castro of Batesville,Texas passed away on May 11, 2020 at University Hospital in San Antonio surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 69. She was born on August 27, 1950 in Mexico to Vicente and Raquel Ramirez (Elizondo).

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Julio Cesar Castro of Batesville, Texas; son, Julio Castro Jr. and wife Maria of Uvalde, Texas; daughters, Claudia Castro Bazan and husband Roberto of Batesville, Texas, Brenda Castro Rendon and husband Ruben Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas, Alejandra Castro of Bastesville, Texas, Lilia Castro Garcia and husband Eddie of Uvalde, Texas; grandchildren, Andrea Castro, Aimee Castro, Cielo Castro, Eddie Garcia Jr., Julio Garcia, and Mia Garcia of Uvalde,Texas, Kyara Bazan, Aaron Bazan, and Daniel Bazan of Batesville, Texas, and Ruben Rendon III and Sebastian Rendon of Corpus Christi, Texas; numerous sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and friends;

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 5:00 p.m. Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
