Eufemia B. Cuellar of Uvalde passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022 in Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 81.
Eufemia was born on September 3, 1940 in Louise, Texas to Monico and Rosa (Garcia) Bustamante.
She was a member of the Holy Name Society and Guadalupanas.
Eufemia is survived by daughter, Rosalinda Cuellar of Fort Worth; son, Robert Cuellar of Seguin; sister, Hilaria Eaton of Alvarado, Tx; brother, Jorge Bustamante of Uvalde; 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ricardo Cuellar, son, Rogelio Cuellar, parents and brother, Eluterio Bustamante.
Visitation for Eufemia will start on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 28,2022 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July29, 2022 at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Uvalde Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Marco Antonio Vasquez, Angel Montalvo, Alfredo Avila, Nicholas Wayland, Arnold Bustamante and Oscar Bustamante.
