Eulalia Samarripa

Mrs. Eulalia Samarripa of Uvalde passed away at her residence on Monday, September 21, 2015 at the age of 83. Mrs. Samarripa was born on May 26, 1932 in Uvalde to Roman and Librada (Acosta) Chacon. She married Pedro "Pete" Samarripa in Uvalde on June 6, 1950. Mrs. Samarripa is survived by daughter, Rachel Rodriguez and husband Tony of Uvalde; three sons, Roberto Samarripa and wife Stella of Uvalde; Rogelio Samarripa and wife Jeannie of Uvalde and Reynaldo Samarripa and wife Juanita of Irving; two brothers, Margarito "Chuck" Chacon of Santa Clara, California and Ramon Chacon of Albany, Oregon; six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Samarripa is preceded in death by her husband, son Ernesto Samarripa, brother and sister-in-law Juan and Margarita Chacon, brother Roman Chacon Jr. and one sister Angela Lopez. A rosary will be held on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tina Marie Gonzales, Mark Trevino, Ruben Martinez, Randy Samarripa, Derick Castillo and Armando Placencia.
