Eunyce Johnson

Eunyce T. Johnson of Uvalde passed away on July 27, 2015 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 100. She was born on March 13, 1915 in Gillette, TX to Charles Terry and Valeska Riedel Terry. She married Oscar Lee Johnson on June 18, 1935 in Karnes City, TX. He preceded her in death in 1985. She is survived by a daughter, Betty Hayden of Uvalde; grandson, Wade Hayden and fianceé, Lorraine Hough of San Antonio; two grandchildren, Meredith Hayden of Houston and Joe Hayden of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and one sister. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary with burial following in Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Don Olson will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
