Eva Scott

Eva Lucille Scott of Uvalde passed away on January 19, 2014 at her residence at the age of 80. She was born on January 1, 1934 in Paint Rock, Texas to John Arthur and Lillie Taylor Field. She married James Franklin Scott in Uvalde on May 24, 1952. She is survived by her husband of 61 years daughter, Brenda Scott Postell and husband Henry of Gillette, Wyoming sons, James Arthur Scott and wife Melissa of Canyon Lake, Dennis Charles Scott and wife Carolyn and Robert Leslie Scott and wife Jenny all of Uvalde brother, Ira Francis Coleman of Uvalde 12 grandchildren 20 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Geraldine Roberts brothers, Aubrey Field, Victor Field, and John Neil Field and granddaughter, Shea Scott. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Barksdale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Postell, Thomas Scott, DeWayne Scott, Raleigh McClure, Henry Postell and Lennis Brice.
