Eva Zamarripa

Eva R. Zamarripa of Uvalde passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Uvalde Healthcare and Rehabilitation at the age of 93. Mrs. Zamarripa was born on December 23, 1923 in Helena, Texas to Angela (Bermea) and Alfonzo Rabago. She is survived by one son Raymundo Ruiz and wife Emma of Uvalde; three grandsons, Ray Ruiz and wife Leticia of Uvalde; Roy Ruiz and wife Cristina of Uvalde and Reynold Ruiz and friend Glenda of Arlington, Texas; eight great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Zamarripa is preceded in death by her husband Pedro Zamarripa.
A vigil will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 10:00 am at Hillcrest Cemetery.
