Ezequiel Ramirez

Ezequiel Ramirez of Uvalde passed away on March 11, 2009 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 70. He was born on August 31, 1938 in Charlotte, Texas to Filomeno and Victoria Ramirez. He is survived by five sisters; Ruth Silva; Angie Ochoa; and Teresa Rodriguez all of Uvalde, Texas; Hortencia Villeda of Charlotte, Texas; and Julia Alaniz of Houston, Texas; two brothers; Manuel Ramirez and Juan Ramirez both of Uvalde, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; the Ramirez; Silva, Villeda; Ochoa; Alaniz and Rodriguez families. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother; Ernestina Ramirez; and brother; Ramon Ramirez. A prayer service will be held on Friday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Templo Christiano with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Brother Edward De La Rosa will officiate. Pallbearers will be John Silva, Javier Silva and Jaime Silva.
