Fay Colvin

Fay Reine Avant Colvin of Sabinal passed away on February 16, 2011 in Hondo Health Care and Rehab at the age of 82. She was born on February 29, 1928 in Concan, Texas to Arthur and Eva Caddel Avant. She is survived by two daughters Anita Herndon and husband, Don and Chris Scott and husband, J.D. all of Sabinal, Texas one son Mike Colvin and wife, Dedo of Sabinal, Texas one sister Mary Lewis of Alamogordo, New Mexico twelve grandchildren Erik Johnson, Rhonda Renee Burell, Nichole Jeanine Hurt, Charles Jack Woodley, Sommer Leigh Scott, Stacy Lynn Scott, James D. Beau Scott III, Jeffery Allen Scott, Donna Klein, Chuck Herndon, Brandi Dansby, and Bobbi Moore fifteen great grandchildren Aidan Johnson, Ana Leise Johnson, Charli Nichole Foster, Toni Renee Burrel, Peyton Delane Burell, Nathaniel Marion Lee Hobbs, Neil Colvin Hobbs, Mackinley Brynn Woodley, Judge Jack Woodley, Erik Ortiz, Matthew Ortiz, Zaylie Lanea Ortiz, AJ Scott, Cade Tanksley, and Collins Dansby. She was preceded in death by her parents husband, Charles B. Colvin and three sisters Inez Watkins, Iris Dalrymple, and Agnes Laird. Graveside services will be held on Monday February 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM in Sabinal Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charlie Jack Woodley, Chuck Herndon, Neil Hobbs, Nathaniel Hobbs, Cade Tanksley, and Pancho Schmidt. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Dan Weedon, Harley Lewis, Jim Henry, George Goodson, Robert Driskill, Clarence Jaschke, Warren Fulcher, Jimmy Dalrymple, Hampton Watkins, Delton Butler, Larry Johnson, Johnny Lewis, and Mike Hawkes. Brother Monty Benson will be officiating.
