Feliciano Ruiz

Mr. Feliciano Ruiz of Uvalde passed away on March 31, 2012 at Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 80. He was born on April 22, 1931 in Ennis, Texas to Felix and Andrea Chavez Ruiz. He married Marcisa Garcia on November 24, 1957 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. He is survived by his wife of 54 years four daughters Maria Flores and husband Jesus Sylvia Arredondo and husband Roberto Rosaura Sonora and husband Gumercindo and Leticia Arizmendi and husband Arnulfo all of Uvalde four sons Jose Ruiz and wife San Juanita of Houston, Texas Gonzalo Ruiz Ricardo Ruiz and wife Maria and Daniel Ruiz and wife Ana Belia one brother Antonio Toledo of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico twentyseven grandchildren and twentynine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers Heronimo Ruiz, Juan Ruiz, Carlos Ruiz and Francisco Ruiz. A Rosary will be held on Sunday at 7:00 PM at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Uvalde with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jose Francisco Aranda, Gumercindo Sonora Jr., Felix Rubio, Daniel Ruiz Jr., Ricardo Ruiz Jr. and Luis Alfonso Alvarado Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Christian Sonora, Bryan Sonora, Kenneth Sonora, Steven Garcia, Arnulfo Arizmendi Jr., Alex Barrera, Michael Barrera, Jose Angel Ruiz, Nathan Ruiz, Joaquin Ruiz and Rigoberto Guerra.
