Felipe Villanueva Jr.

Felipe Villanueva Jr. of Uvalde passed away on March 5, 2012 at the Medina Regional Hospital in Hondo at the age of 49. He was born on November 25, 1962 in Crystal City to Felipe and Juanita Castillo Villanueva. He married Alma Leticia Contreras on August 25, 1990 in Crystal City. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, mother, Juanita Castillo of La Pryor, daughters, Jessica Villanueva of Uvalde, Dolores VillanuevaRios, Naomi Villanueva both of Arlington, Demetria Villanueva of San Antonio, sons, Felipe Villanueva III and Isaac Villanueva both of Uvalde, grandmother, Marina Villanueva of La Pryor, sisters, Dalia Alvarado and Cristina Victorino both of La Pryor, brother, Shaun Michael Villanueva of Uvalde, five grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his father and granddaughter, Alesandra Ochoa. A prayer service will be held on March 6, 2012 and March 7, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 8, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Apostolic Assembley of the Faith in Christ Jesus. Burial will follow at La Pryor Cemetery.
