Felix Rodriguez

Felix Manuel Rodriguez of Uvalde passed away on August 5, 2008 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 60. He was born on December 31, 1947 in Uvalde, Texas to Felix G. and Dolores Rodriguez. He married Raquel Rodriguez on April 19, 1969 in Uvalde, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Raquel R. Rodriguez of Uvalde, Texas; four daughters; Yvette Reyes and husband, Rolando of Edinburg, Texas; Melissa Rodriguez of Smyrna, Georgia; Lora Aguilar and husband, Edward, and Cindy Rodriguez and partner, Barbara Schmitt all of Uvalde, Texas; one son; Estevan M. Rodriguez and girlfriend, Debra of Uvalde, Texas; four sisters; Olga Castillon and Rebecca Rodriguez both of Uvalde, Texas; Rachel Windsor and Dora Ramirez both of Houston, Texas; four brother-in-laws; Everardo Rodriguez and Guillermo Rodriguez both of Ogden, Utah; Ricardo Rodriguez and Alfredo Almendarez both of Uvalde, Texas; eleven grandchildren; Alyssa Danielle Reyes, Justine Rochelle Reyes, Jess Dean Reyes, Jeremy Estevan Reyes, Amber Nicole Hinojosa, Christopher Alejandro Hinojosa, Alexandria Marie Aguilar, Samantha Aguilar, Cassandra Rae Flores, Cassidy Lynn Flores, and Cristine Alyce Flores; three step grandchildren; Christopher Palemon Gonzales, Christopher Aaron Gonzalez, and Caitlin May Gonzalez; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A rosary will be held Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 Pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be Friday, August 8, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Father Wieslaw Iwaniec will officiate.
