Floyd Swanner

Floyd Swanner of Uvalde passed away on May 9, 2012 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 65. He was born on December 26, 1946 in Amherst, Texas to L.B. and Ruth Miller Swanner. He married Rebecca Jean Grigsby on January 16, 1968 in Uvalde. He is survived his wife of 44 years, daughter, Shanna Hernandez and husband Mike of Uvalde, grandson, Patrick Swanner and wife Hannah of Schertz, sisters, Barbara Melton of Driscoll, Texas, Donna Clack, Dale Talley, both of Crane, Texas, Laqueta Bond of McCamey, Texas, brother, David Swanner of Monahans, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary.
