Fortunato Esparza Jr.

Fortunato O. Esparza Jr. of Uvalde passed away on February 8, 2008 at his residence in Uvalde at the age of 63. He was born on July 14, 1944 in Uvalde, Texas to Fortunato and Juanita Esparza Sr. He married Moraima Rodriguez on November 29, 1969 in Piedras Niegras, Mexico. He is survived by his wife of 38 years; daughter; Patricia Rodriguez and husband, Jesus of Uvalde; two sons; Fortunato Esparza III and wife, Bertha; Jesse Esparza and wife, Claudia all of Uvalde; sister; Yolanda Flores of Uvalde; three brothers; Librado Esparza and Jose Esparza both of Uvalde, Texas; Juan Esparza of Sonora, Texas; 8 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister; Francisca Gomez. Cremation services under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary, Inc.
