Fr. Aviles Jr.

Fr. Jose A. Aviles Jr. of Uvalde passed away on June 12, 2008 in Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 49. He was born on October 23, 1958 in Uvalde, Texas to Jose and Julia Aviles Sr. He is survived by his parents; three sisters; Sr. Dolores Aviles of Uvalde, Texas; Ana Decious and husband, Paul of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; and Mary Aviles of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; two brothers; Mike Aviles; and John Aviles and wife Patsy all of Uvalde, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be held on Friday and Saturday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. A Vigil and Rosary will be held on Sunday at 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Funeral services will be Monday, June 16, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Uvalde Cemetery.
