Frances Hernandez

Frances B. Hernandez of Uvalde passed away on January 30, 2008 in Santa Rosa Christus Hospital at the age of 65. She was born on May 31, 1942 in Spofford, Texas to Francisco and Stella Guajardo. She married Antonio L. Hernandez on March 22, 1964 in Bracketville, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 43 years; daughters; Terry H. Zamarripa and husband, Chavelo and Diana H. Flores and husband, Joe all of Uvalde, Texas; sons; Antonio L. Hernandez III and wife, Mary; Carlos B. Hernandez; Frank B. Hernandez and David B. Hernandez and wife, Karen all of Uvalde, Texas; sisters; Ethel Hardy of Dallas, Texas; Mary Campos and Annabel Gomez both of Bracketville, Texas; brothers; Frank Guajardo, Richard Guajardo and Carlos Guajardo all of Bracketville, Texas; 23 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents. A rosary will be held on Thursday and Friday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Father Wieslaw Iwaniec will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jacob Zamarripa, Michael Zamarripa, Daniel Zamarripa, Joey Flores, Arlynda Flores and Joe Flores. Hororary Pallbearer Jessica Flores.
