Frances Nelson

Frances Aileen Nelson of Uvalde, formerly of Batesville, passed away on October 4, 2014 at a private care facility in Kerrville at the age of 85. She was born on February 21, 1929 in Batesville to John B. Maddux and Sarah F. Bragg Maddux.
She married Tolbert Aaron Nelson in Batesville on June 23, 1946. She is preceded in death by her parents brother John William Maddux, two sons, John Allen Nelson, and William Anthony Bill Nelson and husband, Tolbert A. Nelson whom passed on October 22, 2000. She is survived by a daughter, Carol Duncan and husband Les of Hunt, Tx two sons, Ronnie Nelson and wife Rosa of Uvalde, and Tommy Nelson and wife Vicki of Houston 10 grandchildren, and 16 greatgrandchildren. The family will greet visitors on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 5:30 8:30 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Batesville with burial to follow in the Batesville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Craig Nelson, Eric D. Nelson, Bill Nelson, Andy Nelson, Christopher Nelson, Jarrett Lambert, Russ Lambert and Corey Riggs. Honorary pallbearer will be Raul Hernandez Chris Devlin.Memorial donation may be made to the First Baptist Church
