Francisco Gonzales

Francisco M. Gonzales of Uvalde passed away on August 25, 2008 at his residence at the age of 82. He was born on October 5, 1925 in Uvalde, Texas to Augustin and Grabriela Gonzales. He is survived by his wife Julia Gonzales of Uvalde, Texas; three daughters; Maria Noelia Rendon and husband, Jose; Estella Gonzales Cruz; and Zulema Robles and husband, Ronald all of Uvalde, Texas; two sons; Raul Gonzales and wife, Solia; and Jose Gonzales all of Uvalde, Texas; one sister; Luz Martinez of Portales, Mexico; eighteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Augustin and Grabriela Gonzales; one sister; Bereta Flores; three brothers; Rafael, Jose and Alberto Gonzales; one grandson; Frank Gonzales. A rosary will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Rendon Jr., David Rendon, Frank Rendon, Jacob Rendon and James Ybarra.
