Francisco G. Ramirez of Uvalde passed away peacefully on January 11, 2023, at Texas Vista Medical Center Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 66 in the presence of his family.
He was born on June 29, 1956, in Andocutin, Guanajuato, Mexico to Lucia (Guzman) and Antonio Ramirez.
On October 17, 1986, he married the love of his life Carmen Castillo. He never failed to express how much he loved her as a wife and a mother. To him family was everything.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years of Uvalde; twin daughters, Aryel C. Ramirez and husband, Antonio Niño Jr. of Uvalde and Adryanna C. Ramirez of Alpine; only son, Francisco C. Ramirez, Jr. of Cotulla; three wonderful grandchildren, Katalyna A. Ramirez, Karyssa A. Ramirez, and Antonio R. Niño, III.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will begin on Sunday, January 15, 2023, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will continue on Monday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
