Frank Pena

Frank Pena of Uvalde passed away on June 18, 2010 in his residence at the age of 68. He was born on July 12, 1941 in Uvalde, Texas to Joaquin and Carolina Pena. He married Hortencia Rodriguez in Uvalde, Texas on May 30, 1959. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Hortencia Pena of Uvalde, Texas four sons Frank Pena Jr. of Fort Collins, Colorado George Pena of Uvalde, Texas John Jake Pena and Joaquin Pena both of Edinburg, Texas eight sisters Maria Del Rosario Ortiz of Leesville, Louisiana Irma Luevano and husband, Roy Stella Samarripa and husband, Robert Cecilia Luna and husband, Bobby Anna Santos and husband, Ernesto Sr. Patricia Perez and husband, Roy all of Uvalde, Texas Lydia Torres and husband, Helmut of Arvada, Colorado and Dora Desidere and husband, Sonny of New Llano, Louisiana two grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and six sisterinlaws. A rosary will be held on Sunday at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday June 23, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Cremation under the direction of RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary.
