Frankie Mancha

Frankie G. Mancha of Pearland, Texas passed away in an automobile accident in Shertz, Texas in route to San Antonio, Texas on October 10, 2008 at the age of 38. He was born on November 24, 1969 in Uvalde, Texas to Frank C. and Dedic G. Mancha. He is survived by his mother; Dedic G.Mancha of Pearland, Texas; one sister; Denise Mancha Adame and husband, Jose and nephew Joshua Adame all of Pearland, Texas; maternal grandmother, Consuelo P. Gonzales; Paternal grandmother, Consuelo Mancha; uncles; Vicente Gonzales and wife, Maria; Guadalupe Gonzales; Andres Gonzales and wife, Esmeralda; Rolando Gonzales; Johnny Gonzales and wife, Rachel; and Mark Gonzales all of Uvalde, Texas; aunt Criselda Flores and husband, Fausto of Pearland, Texas; aunts, Rosie Garcia and husband, David of San Antonio, Texas; Aurora Khosravi of Uvalde, Texas; uncle, Evaristo Buddy Mancha and wife, Debra of Indiana; and numerous great aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank C. Mancha; grandfathers, Vicente Gonzales Jr.; and Evaristo Buddy Mancha.

Frankie attended and graduated from Crystal City High School in Crystal City, Texas. He also attended S.W.T.J.C in Uvalde, Texas; he went on to St. Marys University and graduated in May of 1994 receiving a Bachelor of Political Science. He was elected as Zavala County District Clerk for 6 years. At the present time he was working with Echostar in Alvin. He had recently obtained his license as an Insurance Agent.

A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Father Wieslaw Iwaniec will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Hector Gonzales, Andy Gonzales Jr., John Paul Gonzales, Michael Garcia, Anthony Khosravi, and John Amir Khosravi. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Gomez and Raul Rositas.
