Fred Gomez

Fred Robles Gomez of Uvalde passed away on Saturday, August 29,2020 in San Antonio at the age of 70.  He was born to Felix and Juanita (Robles) Gomez in Uvalde, Texas on June 30, 1950.

He married Irma Sotelo in Uvalde.

He is survived by his wife Irma Sotelo Gomez of Uvalde; three sons, Ricardo Gomez and wife, Patricia of Uvalde, Alberto Gomez and wife, Letishia of Hondo, and Joe Anthony Gomez of Uvalde; one brother, Oscar Gomez of Uvalde; nine grandchildren Nadia Adina Gomez, Alberto De La Cruz Gomez, Nina Jolene Gomez, Mateo Alejandro Gomez, Xavier Gomez, Desirey Gomez, Britny Gomez, Marrissa Gomez, Mariah Gomez and Christian Gomez; four great-grandchildren Julianna Gomez, Jayeda Gomez, Amara Gomez and Arianna Gomez.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Maria Esparza.

Graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 10:00 am. Arrangements are under the direction of Rushing Estes Knowles Uvalde.
