Fred Muniz

Fred V. Muniz, Sr. of Uvalde passed away March 24, 2014 at Amistad Nursing Home in Uvalde at the age of 67. He was born on October 11, 1946 in Uvalde to Pasqual and Beatrice Vinton Muniz . He is survived by his companion Rachel Varela of Uvalde, sons Albert Muniz and his wife Debbie of Alice, Fred Muniz, Jr. and his wife Lindsay of Austin and Alfred Jacob Muniz of Uvalde, sister Elva Gonzales of San Antonio, brother Gilbert Cantu of Uvalde, 5 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A rosary will be held on Wednesday and vigil on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 28th at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
