Freddie Hodges

Freddie Douglas Hodges, Sr. of Uvalde passed away on June 3, 2008 in the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 65. He was born on March 2, 1943 in Asherton, TX to J.T. and Verna McNeil Hodges. He married Bettye McKinney in Uvalde on September 12, 1994. He is survived by his wife of 13 years; three daughters, Damita Williams and husband, John; Stacey Hodges; and Wendy Fludd and husband, Louis, all of San Antonio; two sons, Freddie D. Hodges, Jr. and wife, Lisa; and Darrell Hodges, all of San Antonio; four sisters, seven brothers; and numerous grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2008, at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Freddie D. Hodges, Jr. will officiate.
