Gary Davis, Jr., 41 of Utopia, Texas passed away on July 17, 2023 in Sabinal, Texas.

He was born on April 30, 1982, in Uvalde to Janna (Backwell) and Gary Davis, Sr.
Gary attended school in Utopia. He married Kalli Brown on July 28, 2001.
Gary spent much time with his dad at Sabino Grande Ranch working cows and hay. He worked with Bill Kellner and Ryan Redden at K&R Sodbusters for many years running heavy equipment. When the company split he stayed working for Bill. It was while working with Bill that Lannell encouraged him to get his CDL license. Gary loved running equipment and driving haul trucks. He lived life to the fullest and knew just about everyone and their vehicles. It drove his family crazy.
He volunteered with Utopia EMS and Utopia Fire Department. He coached Little League t-ball and softball. Every year when coaching softball, he would tell the girls he would dye his hair pink if they won. He kept that word and dyed it pink.
Gary was well known, he was a great friend, great father and best friend and soulmate to his wife, Kalli.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years of Utopia; children, Matthew Dean Brown and wife, Zylpha of Waco, Bradley Lynn Davis, and Ansleigh Rose Davis, all of Utopia; parents, Gary and Janna of Utopia; sister, Jennifer Williams and husband, Eddie of Utopia; brother, Cody Davis and companion, Rusty Jackson of Crestview, Florida; father in law, Kenneth Brown of Utopia; numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
