Gavino Barrera

Gavino Barrera of Uvalde passed away on March 17, 2013 at University Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 20. He was born on May 18, 1992 in Uvalde to Francisco Barrera III and Guadalupe Sanchez. He is survived by his mother, Guadalupe Sanches of San Antonio, father, Francisco Barrera III maternal grandparents, Rojelio and Juanita Velasquez paternal grandparents, Francisco Jr. and Rosalinda Barrera maternal great grandmother, Remidios Acosta daughter, Nayeli Aceneth Barrera all of Uvalde sister, Corina Barrera and Roxanne Barrera both of San Antonio brother, Frank Barrera IV of Sulphur, Louisiana and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roy Velasquez, Marky Velasquez, Toby Luna, Victor Velasquez, Miguel Acosta and Luis Ale.
