Genaro Perez, Jr.

Mr. Genaro Ortiz Perez, Jr. of La Pryor passed away April 12, 2007 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 65.

He was born September 7, 1941 in La Pryor to Genaro B. Francisca Perez.

He is survived by his wife, Roberta Perez of La Pryor; daughters, Beatrice McHazlett and husband, Carlos, Laura Perez, all of La Pryor; step-daughter, Maria Isabel Gonzalez of Victoria; sons, Juan Manuel wife, Malia Perez; Jose Luis Perez, all of La Pryor; Julian Perez wife, Laura of Crystal City; Genaro A. Perez wife, Irene, of Uvalde; step-son, Octaviano Ramirez of La Pryor; sisters, Evangelina Moreno Celia Ortiz of La Pryor; Maria Perez of Uvalde; Diana Jimenez of Ft. Morgan, Colorado; brother, Elias Perez of La Pryor; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jesus Perez; brother, Arturo Perez sister, Guadalupe Cazarez.

Services will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel in Uvalde at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in La Pryor Cemetery. Bro. Octaviano Ramirez will officiate.

Pallbearers will be sons, Juan Manuel Perez; Julian Perez; Genaro A. Perez. Honorary pallbearer will be Jose Luis Perez.

Arrangements are by Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
