George Brown

George Brown, 80, of Uvalde passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 17, 2023, at his home in the presence of loved ones.  He was born on January 28, 1943, in Uvalde, Texas to Susie Lee (Trees) and Lon Ellis Brown.

George married Frances Sutherland, of Uvalde, on April 10, 1959. They shared 64 years of life together.

He is survived by his wife; two children, daughter, George Ann Brown, son, Cody Brown and wife, Tammie, all of Uvalde; two grandchildren, Brandy Swann and Gage Brown; one great grandson, Hunter Collis; and sister, Betty Sue Johnston of Amarillo.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and sister, Nancy Koch.

At his request, no services will be held.

Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
