George Morgan

George David Morgan of Uvalde passed away on March 24, 2020 at his residence at the age of 81.  He was born on June 8, 1938 in Uvalde to Lida Lou (Gass) and Hairl David Morgan.  He is survived by a son, Glenn Morgan and wife, Lori of Lexington, TX; daughter, Rhonda Barrow and husband, Keith of Uvalde; step-sons, Jonny Hipp and wife, Carol Sue of Corpus Christi; Rickey Hipp and wife, Julie of Uvalde; and James Hipp of Dallas; granddaughters, Whitney Morgan, Shelby Morgan, and Morgan Rowell; grandsons, Wyatt Barrow, John Harris Hipp, James Hipp and wife, Carly, Jay Hipp, and Harris Frank Hipp; great-grandson, Tate Michael Hipp and good friend, Winnie Hopper.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Emma Morgan, and sister, Barbara Scallions.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Hillcrest Cemetery with Rev. Steve Peyton officiating.  Honorary pallbearers will be Wyatt Barrow, Whitney Morgan, Shelby Morgan, John Harris Hipp, James Hipp, Jay Hipp, Morgan Rowell, and Harris Frank Hipp.
