George Rodriguez

George D. Rodriguez of Uvalde passed away on January 16, 2019 in Uvalde at the age of 57. He was born on April 13, 1961 in Uvalde to Gregorio and Carmen (Diaz) Rodriguez.
He is survived by his parents of Uvalde; sister, Gracie Luna and husband, Manuel of San Antonio; brothers, Gregorio Rodriguez, III and wife, Letty of Marion, Paul Rodriguez and wife, Laura, Joe Rodriguez and wife, Carmen, Pat Rodriguez all of Uvalde and Johnny Ray Rodriguez and husband, Hector of San Antonio; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pablo and Clotilde Diaz and Gregorio and Patricia Rodriguez.
A rosary will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gregorio Rodriguez, III, Johnny Rodriguez, Manuel "Manny" Luna, Jr., James Rodriguez, Diego Rodriguez, and Paul Rodriguez, Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Paul Rodriguez.
