Gerarda Ramon

Gerarda M. Ramon passed away on November 30,2007 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 83. She was born on October 3,1924 to Patricio and Maria Munoz. She married San Felipe de Jesus Ramon on December 3, 1945 in Allende, Coahuila, Mexico. She is survived by her husband, Jesus Ramon of Uvalde; four daughters, Lucia Yolanda Costilla of Uvalde; Rosa Nelia Ramon and Rosa Estella Torres, both of Wisconsin; and Alma Norma Hernandez of San Antonio; three sons, Felipe Angel Ramon, Sr. and wife, Julia; and Alfredo R. Ramon, Sr. and Marta Garcia all of San Antonio; and Reynaldo R. Ramon, Sr. of Killeen, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sons, Jesus Cruz Ramon and Hector Baldemar Ramon, Sr. A rosary will be held on Saturday and Sunday nights at 7:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 3, 2007, at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Fr. Antonio Hernandez will officiate.
