Gloria Guzman

Gloria Guzman of Uvalde passed away on December 17, 2015 in University Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 54. She was born on March 23, 1961 in San Antonio to Porfirio Arreola and Rachel Capetillo Arreola. She married Mario Guzman in Uvalde in 1985. She is survived by her husband of 30 years; mother, Rachel Arreola; sons, Jose Aguilar, Jr. and wife, Melissa Rae Flores, Mario A. Guzman, Jr. and wife, Elizabeth, and Mark A. Guzman; daughter, Jessica Marie Chapa, all of Uvalde; two brothers, Ponciano Arreola and wife, Berlinda of Uvalde and Benny Arreola and wife, Cathy of Wallace, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Porfirio Arreola, Jr. and Daniel Arreola. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial following in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mario Guzman, Sr., Joe Luis Aguilar, Jr., Mario Guzman, Jr., Mark Guzman, Jessica Chapa, and Ponciano Arreola.
