Gloria Valdez

Gloria C. Valdez of Sabinal passed away on August 3, 2013 in Sabinal at the age of 52. She was born on October 22, 1960 in Uvalde to Angelita Munoz and Santiago O. Contreras, Sr. She married William Joseph Valdez, Sr. in Chicago, IL on December 5, 1979. She is survived by her husband of 33 years daughter, Erlinda May Contreras and husband, Wesley Sances of Sabinal three sons, William Joseph Valdez, Jr. and wife, Vanessa Isabel, Donny Ray Valdez and wife, Jasmina Martinez, and Nathan Bryce Valdez, all of Sabinal sister, Elsa Moellendorf of Kerrville two brothers, Oscar M. Contreras and Santiago Contreras, Jr., both of Sabinal seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, August 5, 2013 at 3:00 PM at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Sabinal with burial to follow in St. Patricks Catholic Cemetery.
