Grace Gail Kerby, of Uvalde, passed away on December 14, 2021 at the age of 85. She was born on October 30, 1936 in Elyria, Ohio to Alfred and Fern Cutler.
She married Yale Leland Kerby on June 30, 1956 in Morenci, Michigan.
Grace was a devoted wife and loving mother who doted on her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was involved in the Hospital Auxiliary in Adrian, Michigan and Uvalde, Texas. Grace was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, and was an awesome baker. There was nothing she loved more than spending time with her family.
Grace is survived by three children, Marla White & Craig of Troy, OH, Paula Hale & Manza Jr. of Uvalde, TX, and Kevin Kerby & Amy of McKinney, TX. Eight grandchildren, Andrew White & Sarah, Madeline White, Heather Kerby, Tristan Hale, Manza Hale III, Ryan Kerby & Megan, Jackson Kerby and Will Kerby. Six great grandchildren, Brinnley Miller, Bellamy Miller, Clarissa Kerby, Kira Kerby, Liliana White, Amelia White. One brother Tom Cutler of Adrian, Michigan and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Yale Leland Kerby, mother Fern Newlin, brothers Jerry Cutler and Dale Cutler.
Visitation will begin on December 19th @ 1:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Uvalde, TX.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Kerby, Manza Hale Jr., Ryan Kerby, Tristan Hale, and Manza Hale III.
Honorary pallbearers will be Craig White and Andrew White.
