Graciela Cano

Graciela A. Cano of Uvalde passed away on April 7, 2013 at Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 80. She was born on July 19, 1932 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico to Faustino and Rebecca Souquett Aguirre. She married Raul Cano on August 18, 1964 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. She is survived by her son, John Jay Cano of Uvalde, Texas sister, Maria Aguirre of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico brothers, Guillermo Aguirre and Ricardo Aguirre both of Eagle Pass, Texas numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents. A rosary will be held on Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Guillermo Aguirre, Hugo Perez, Beco Diaz, Chris Gonzales, Valente Gonzales and Jesse Martinez Sr.
