Grant Messer

Grant Edward Messer of Schertz passed away on June 19, 2016 at his residence at the age of 53. He was born on August 31, 1962 in Medford, OR to James Edward Messer and Karlene Mae (Johnson) Messer. He is survived by a son, James Messer, U.S. Navy, Norfolk, VA; daughter, Eva Messer of Corpus Christi; three brothers, Greg Messer of Medford, OR; John Messer of Salem, OR; and Neil Messer of Woodstock, CT; and three sisters, Nicky Quackenbush and Andrea Messer, both of Salem, OR; and Karla Messer-Holt of Lebanon, OR. He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Jessica Messer. Mr. Messer served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 18 years. Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 10:00 AM in Rio Frio Cemetery.
