Gregoria Camacho

Gregoria Camacho, 77, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on March 10, 2025, at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary on both days at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

She was born on January 21, 1948, in Robstown, Texas to Maria (Gonzales) and Pedro Cabello.

She is survived by her mother of New Braunfels; five daughters, Divina Mendez and husband, Juan of Granada, Colorado, Norma Perez of Holly, Colorado, Sonia Camacho of Lamar, Colorado, America Camacho and husband, Rodrigo Castillo of Victoria, Texas and Priscilla Camacho and husband Ivan Chacon of Coolidge, Kansas; son, Javiel Camacho and wife, Evelyn of Uvalde; six sisters, Maria Ysabel Gomez and husband, Salvador of Georgia, Irma Jimenez and husband, Alfred of San Antonio, Catarina Cabello of Lubbock, Carolina Cabello of New Braunfels, Aurora Cabello of Lubbock, and Rosa Maria Nieto of Lubbock; six brothers, Pedro Cabello, Jr. of Lubbock, Juan Cabello and wife, Ellie of Snyder, Martin Cabello of Lamar, Colorado, David Cabello and wife, Kerry of Lubbock, Jose Cabello and wife, Becky of New Braunfels, and Ricardo Cabello and wife, Mary of Dallas; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father; husband, Jose Santos Camacho; and brother, Roberto Cabello.

Pallbearers will be Nathaniel Camacho, Santos Camacho, Adriel Vargas, Saul Antonio Pizarro, Manuel Perez Jr., Gavino Rincon, and Jo’Saney Camacho.
