Gregoria Morales

Gregoria Cruz Morales of Uvalde passed away on December 23, 2013 at her residence at the age of 91. She was born on October 2, 1922 in Palafox, Texas to Jose and Otila Rivera Cruz. She is survived by her daughters, Manuela Gutierrez and husband Jose of Ft. Worth, Olga Samarripa, Elva Gracia of Uvalde, Delia Luna of Austin, Ermelinda Vasquez and husband Lino, Anita Morales all of Uvalde, Rosemary Powers of Temple sons, Jesus Morales Jr. and wife Elvira of Uvalde, Alfredo Morales and wife Martha of Crowley, Ricardo Morales and wife Irene, Adolfo Morales all of Uvalde, Jose Morales of Ft. Worth, Gilbert Morales and wife Sherry of Ranger, Mario Morales, Mike Morales and wife Leticia, Arnulfo Morales and wife Lydia, Ruben Morales and wife Lisa all of Uvalde brother, Gilberto Flores and wife Lola of Detroit, Michigan 62 grandchildren 121 great grandchildren 24 greatgreat grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Jesus Mata Morales infant son, Mario Morales parents grandsons, Bobby Jo Morales, Bobby Morales and Jesse Morales III great grandson, Matthew Anthony Cano and great granddaughter, Mia Samarripa. A rosary will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday and a vigil on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery
