Guadalupe Delgado

Guadalupe Delgado, a cherished mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, peacefully passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 72 at The Drake in Alice, Texas. 

Born on January 22, 1952, in Batesville, Texas, Guadalupe was a beloved daughter of Herminia (Medrano) and Faustino Delgado.

Guadalupe's life was defined by her unwavering love for her family. She is survived by her two devoted sons, Francisco Javier Delgado of Batesville and Mario Alberto Delgado, along with his wife, Yvette, of Alice. Her legacy continues through her four grandchildren—Mario Antonio Delgado, Velma Allyssa Delgado, Nevaeh Delgado, and David Delgado—who brought her endless joy and pride.

She is also remembered by her sister, Elvira Morales of Uvalde, and her three brothers, Florencio Delgado and Jose Luis Delgado, both from Houston, and Hector Delgado of Batesville. Guadalupe's nurturing spirit extended to numerous nieces and nephews, who will forever hold her memory close.

Preceded in death by her beloved parents, Guadalupe leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and love that resonates through all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a rosary service at 7 p.m. on both evenings. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
