Guadalupe Fernandez of Uvalde passed away on May 24, 2019 in San Antonio at the age of 82. She was born on November 19, 1936 in La Pryor, Texas to Manuel and Margarita (De La Cruz) Villasana.
She is survived by her daughter, Marisol Fernandez - Jimenez of San Antonio and husband John Christopher Jimenez; grandchildren, Saryah Gonzalez, Gabriela Ayala, and Christina Pena; and numerous great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; Aurelio Fernandez; and son, Pedro Pena.
A rosary will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Interment of ashes will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery on June 29, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
