Guadalupe Flores

Guadalupe L. Flores of Uvalde passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 68.  She was born on December 12, 1952 in Uvalde, Texas to Estevan and Carolina (Sanchez) Leal.

She married Raul Y. Flores, Jr.  in Uvalde, Texas on October 23, 1967.

She is survived by her husband, Raul Y. Flores, Jr., of Uvalde; daughters, Sandra F. Jones of San Antonio and Cynthia F. Gomez of Uvalde; son, Raul L. Flores, III of Uvalde; sister, Rosa Lopez of Uvalde; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carolina and Estevan Leal; grandson, Alan F. Navejar; sisters, Feliz Banda and Mary Sanchez.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Raul F. Navejar, III, Steven W. Castro, Rick J. Jones, Raymundo Gomez, Leo Flores, Jr., and Richard Samaniego.
