Guadalupe Garcia, Jr.

Mr. Guadalupe Ruiz Garcia, Jr. of Uvalde passed away June 2, 2007 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 53.

He was born September 5, 1953 to Santos Guadalupe G. Garcia, Sr.

He married Alma Trejo in Uvalde on May 6, 1977.

He is survived by his wife, Alma Y. Garcia of Uvalde; daughters, Alma Y. Rodriguez husband, George Victoria Renee Garcia, all of Uvalde; sons, Guadalupe T. Garcia, III Letty Alvarez Joaquin T. Garcia wife, Patricia, all of Uvalde; sisters, Julia Losoya Olivia Garcia of Denton; Rosalinda Ferrendelli Velma Garcia of Phoeniz, Az.; Susana Underwood of Ft. Worth; brothers, Martin Garcia of Justin, Tx.; Alonzo Garcia of Uvalde; Ernesto Garcia of Dallas Raul Perez of Pharr; half-sisters, Ninfa Garcia of Edinburg, Tx.; Margarita G. Lopez of Raymondville, Tx.; Estella Vela of Sabastian, Tx.; Ester Garza of Giddings, Tx.; Vera Galvan of Burleson, Tx.; Linda Garcia of Brownsville, Tx.; half-brother, Nayo Garcia of Ft. Worth, Tx.; mother-in-law, Zulema Trejo of Uvalde; brothers-in-law, Miguel Trejo; Victor M. Trejo Roman Trejo, all of Uvalde; sister-in-law, Sulema Medina of Uvalde; 7 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents half-brother, Ruben Garcia.

Pallbearers will be Guadalupe T. Garcia, III; Joaquin T. Garcia; Miguel Trejo; Victor Trejo; Roman Trejo; Felipe Medina; Martin Garcia; Jesse G. Cortez, Jr.; Alonzo Garcia.

A rosary will be held on Monday Tuesday at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel in Uvalde.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
