Guadalupe Guevara

Mrs. Guadalupe R. Guevara of Uvalde passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Uvalde Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 84. Mrs. Guevara was born on February 19, 1931 in Uvalde to Ramon and Anastacia (Lopez) Reyes. She married Francisco Guevara on June 26, 1955 in Sabinal. Mrs. Guevara is survived by daughter, Josefina G. Garcia and husband Jesse of Uvalde; three sons, Carlos Guevara and wife Lucy; Francisco Guevara Jr and wife Delia; Inez Guevara and wife Elizabeth all of Uvalde; one sister, Maria Olivarez of Saginaw, Michigan; one brother, Jose Reyes of Los Angeles, California; eight grandchildren, Francisco Guevara III, Jose Alfredo Guevara, Julissa Garcia, Bianca Guevara, Inez Guevara Jr, Carlos Guevara Jr, Karla Sendejo and Kayla Guevara and eleven great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Guevara was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister, Eloisa Gonzalez, three brothers, Remijio Reyes, Ramon Reyes and Cirilo Reyes. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 6:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Uvalde, a rosary will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2015 and Friday, February 27, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Sabinal. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 3:00 pm at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Sabinal. Pallbearers will be Francisco Guevara III, Jose Guevara, Inez Guevara Jr, Jesus Reyes, Robert Reyes and Ricardo Reyes.
