Guadalupe C. "Tres" De Leon III of Uvalde passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015 in Big Lake, Texas at the age of 32. Tres was born on May 22, 1983 in Uvalde to Rosalinda (Castro) and Guadalupe De Leon Jr. Tres is survived by his parents; eight sisters, Denise Arispe of Sonora, Lydia Woodbury of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Dottie De Leon of Ozona, Edna Gonzales of Houston, Esmeralda Gonzalez, Raquel De Leon, Shelly Cruz all of San Antonio and Liza Diaz of Uvalde; one brother, Javier De Leon of Uvalde; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Mr. De Leon is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jose and Elisa Castro and paternal grandparents, Guadalupe and Rafaela De Leon.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, September 10, 2015 and Friday, September 11, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 9:00 am at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church with burial to follow at Campwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Javier De Leon, Christopher Castro, Chris Rendon, Ismael Trevino Jr., Tomas Rodriguez, John J. Cruz, Edward Cruz and Richie Aguero. Honorary pallbearers will be Theron "Dean" Woodbury, Ismael "Moe" Gonzalez, Unberto "Bert" Gonzalez, Joseph Cruz, Frankie Gonzalez, Manuel Rodriguez III, Eric Woodbury, Justin Woodbury and Cesar Gonzalez.
