Guadalupe Musquiz

Guadalupe G. Musquiz of Sabinal passed away January 3, 2008, in Medina Community Hospital in Hondo at the age of 89. She was born December 12, 1918, in Eagle Pass, Texas to Felix and Secundina Gomez. She married Inez G. Musquiz Sr. on August 15, 1936 in Sabinal, Texas. She is survived by daughters; Elena Sepuvelda and husband, Ramiro of San Antonio, Tx.; Dora Fernandez and Linda Musquiz both of Sabinal, Tx.; Eva Rangel and husband, Carlos of West Chicago, ILL.; Patty Metrz of Marble Falls, Tx.; sons; Eduardo Musquiz of Natalia, Tx.; Benito Musquiz and wife, Mary of San Antonio, Tx.; Raul Musquiz and wife, Elizabeth of Sun City, Calf.; Dionicio Musquiz and wife, Alicia of Grand Junction, Colo.; Inez Musquiz Jr. and wife, Gloria of Sabinal, Tx.; Angel Musquiz of Pasadena, Tx.; Armando Musquiz and wife, Susie of Beeville, Tx.; Ricky Musquiz and wife, Denise of Reagan Wells, Tx.; and Johnny Musquiz of Horse Shoe Bay, Tx.; 1 sister; Angie Bernal of San Antonio, Tx.; brothers; Claudio Cortinas of Planada, Calf.; and Patricio Cortinas of Omak, Wash.; 48 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 daughters; Saragosa Musquiz and Maria del Rosario Musquiz; 2 grandsons; Ruben Musquiz and Juan L. Fernandez Jr.; 1 great-grandson; Nicolas Andrew Sandoval; 2 daughter-in-laws; Aurora Musquiz and Hope Ramirez. A rosary will be held on Friday and Saturday; at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel in Sabinal at 7:30 PM. Funeral service will be Sunday, January 6, 2008; at 3:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sabinal. Fr. Antonio Hernandez will officiate. Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary, Inc. Pallbearers will be Adrian Lee Musquiz; Angel Musquiz Jr.; Martin Musquiz; Oscar Fernandez; Andrew Gonzales; Anthony Gonzales; Juan Gutierrez and Efrain Fernandez.
