Guadalupe Ruiz

Guadalupe M. Ruiz of Uvalde passed away on October 29, 2014 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 56. He was born to Guasimodo and Consuelo Mirelez Ruiz on December 12, 1957 in Uvalde. He married Maria Del Rosario Rodriguez on May 12, 1979 in Uvalde. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, daughters Amanda Ruiz of San Antonio, Melissa Salazar and husband Frank of Uvalde, brothers Roberto Ruiz and wife Frances of San Jose, California Guasimodo Ruiz, Jr., and wife Judy of Sonora, California, Jose E. Ruiz and companion Lupe of Pflugerville, Mario Ruiz and wife Mary Lou of Uvalde, Andres Ruiz and wife Virginia of Austin, 2 grandchildren Frank Salazar III and Leah Salazar and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Juanita Hernandez, Natalia Rodriguez, Maria Elena Moreno and Rosa Lee Enriquez. A rosary will be held on October 30th and 31st at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held on November 1st 2014 at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A cremation is under the direction of RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Pallbearers will be Dennis Hidalgo, Javier Rodriguez, Johnny Enriquez, Robert Ortega, Joey Ortega and Michael Contreras. Honorary pallbearers Mario C. Ruiz II and Matthew Jayce Ruiz.
