Guillerma Mares

Guillerma I. Mares of Uvalde passed away on March 13, 2010 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 94. She was born on June 25, 1915 in DHanis, Texas to Encarnacion and Estefana Ibarra. She married Lucio Mares on November 27, 1938 in DHanis, Texas. She is survived by two daughters Eudulia Mares Alejandro and husband Joe of Topeka, Kansas Nina Mares Limones and husband Andres of Uvalde, Texas two sons Jose Hector Mares and wife Dolores of Albuqueque, New Mexico Lucio Mares Jr. of Eagle Pass, Texas seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mares is preceded in death by her husband Lucio Mares, parents, three sisters and two brothers. A rosary will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Morturay. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andres Limones, Pedro Limones, Adrian Gonzales, Alfonso Aviles, Joe Ibarra and Roy Mares.
