Gus Routh

Gus Leon Routh of Uvalde passed away at Uvalde Memorial Hospital on Thursday November 17, 2011 at the age of 86. He was born on May 1, 1925 in Utopia, Texas to Gus and Leona Cox Routh. He married Joy Floyd on February 17, 1951 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, special friend, Janie Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, A.J. Routh and Benford Routh. Graveside services will be held on Saturday November 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.
